With the sun shining, there is no better excuse to get outside and enjoy the warmth. For me, cycling is more than just exercise; it is an opportunity to explore, clear my mind, and, of course, earn my next great meal!

I originally started as a runner, then moved into triathlons before settling into cycling. It is not just about fitness; it is an investment in my well-being. In our fast-paced professional lives, and whether you are a doctor, lawyer, vet, CEO or anyone other high achiever, these two areas are worth prioritising: sleep and exercise.

Both are essential for sustained success, mental clarity, and overall health. The benefits of movement are well-documented, and while I am not a GP, I know many who prescribe it as the best medicine.

Even if it is just a five-minute walk or a short swim, I encourage you to make time for it. Some of the best workouts happen when you least feel like doing them, so the next time motivation is low, give it a go. You might be surprised by how much better you feel afterward!
