Let’s be clear: I love AI.

I use it often; to brainstorm, summarise, repurpose content and push my thinking. It saves me time, gives me options, and helps beat the blank page.

But when it comes to how I connect with people, especially on LinkedIn, I draw a firm line.

🤖 AI Can’t Build Trust but YOU Can

Plenty of people say:
“Automate your DMs.”
“Use AI to reply to connections.”

But to me, that misses the point.

When someone connects with me, they’re not a lead; they’re a person. They’ve opened a door. And they deserve more than a generic “Thanks for connecting!” or a templated PDF drop.

Trust doesn’t start with a bot. It starts with presence.

In coaching, everything starts with relationship.
If I claim to help people lead with clarity and emotional intelligence, why would I let automation do my talking?

The first message you send says everything about how you think, lead, and value people. That’s not a moment I’m willing to outsource.

✅ So, What Do I Use AI For?

I use it as a thinking partner, not a stand-in:

• Drafting ideas
• Testing angles
• Improving structure
• Speeding up admin

But I’ll never use it to mimic my voice in a one-to-one message. Especially not when trust and human insight are at the core of what I do.
